to the TrekLan Southern California's LAN Party!
We
are a relatively new LAN that has sprung up in the SoCal area
and have been going strong since 2005. We are a gathering of different
people that share a single interest. That single interest is to
LAN!
Unlike
Internet based games, we like the concept of meeting face to face,
and hearing the screams, cheers and frustrated grunts of our fellow
players. And its a great opportunity to hang out, and generally
let loose without the shackles of the real world entering in.
Get rid of frustration on your friends and amazingly stay on speaking
terms.
We're
always open to new players. If you want to find out more about

I’m
anticipating the release of Star Trek Legacy next month on the
21th of November. I'll be jumping into the game right away.

me and we’ll see how many people are willing to sign up.
This is a new venue for me and I’m excited to see if eventually
we’ll need to move it to a bigger location. Also I’m
using a free hosting site to gauge the reaction before getting
a dedicated domain.
I
went out and bought Star Trek Tactical Assault, I have to say
this is a great game. I'll be playing this for awhile. If there
is anyone living in the Santa Clarita Valley area let me know.
I'd like to meet at "Its a Grind" for coffee and WiFi
play :)
I
now have Star Trek Legacy! I've been playing it
now for a few days. I can't as yet get this to allow
me to host or join a network game. I'm using a wireless
router though, so I'll have to find out about the port
settings I'll need. I will post those here soon!
I've
had Star Trek Legacy since it came out. I have to say this game
needs a patch soon :) At this point multiplayer is unplayable
unless you use the Hamachi client to contact players! I've noticed
it effects XFire too. I'll keep updating the site.
