The LiveVideo Community Banner Exchange

(note to current banner users...if you have lost your banner code send me a message on my livevideo account)

With over 150 LiveVideo members already signed up the LV community banner exchange is the easiest way to join and take part in promoting your channel, and other peoples channels.

Please read the instructions carefully to make sure you have fully joined.

Step 1: Create Your Banner

You will need a jpg, or gif (animated gifs work as well) 468 x 60 banner to advertise your channel first.  You can use a free banner creator and simply save the banner to your desktop by right clicking and "save image".  If you are creating your banner manually either in paint, paintshop pro or a simmilar program save your banner to your desktop or an easy place to access it.  Once you have your 468 x 60 banner ready you can continue to step 2...

Step 2: Joining the exchange

You will be presented with the join and log in page.

To join the banner exchange choose a username and password you will remember (NOT your livevideo password) and type them into the following boxes...

Once you have joined you will be presented with the following page...

This is the final stage of joining...type your livevideo name in the top box, your current email address in the middle box and the address of your livevideo page in the 3rd box, then press "edit account"

Step 3 - Uploading your banner and adding the code

Almost there!

If you have followed step 2 you will see the following page...

Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click the "Upload Banner" button...upload the banner you have made to the server.  Once you have upload it the page will return to the one shown above, it will also show your banner that you have added.

Once your banner is uploaded you will need to copy and paste ALL THE CODE you see in the large white box into the header section of your LiveVideo page.  To paste the code in go to your livevideo page, and then click on "Edit Channel".  When you are at the Edit Channel page in the right hand column you will see a button named "Channel Appearance".  Click on it and paste the banner code into the top white box for headers and then save it, the banner system should then appear at the top of your page and within 6 hours your own banner will start to be shown on other peoples pages!
