Post subject:  Patrick Stewart to star in new ITV Sci-Fi
Just a quick note to let all the TNG Picard fans know that since the BBC is wiping the floor with rating's on Saturday nights with the new Doctor Who series (anyone see it tonight...the gas mas popping out of the face thing was freaky) ITV have decided to pull out the stoppers with a £5 million Sci-Fi production to air at the end of 2005, which will put it in direct competition with the second series of Doctor Who in 2006.

The leading actor is Patrick Stewart.

Seems that UK Sci-Fi is now making a comeback smile

:cool Excellent - though if you read the article it says "science based not sci-fi or horror" and similar to Doomwatch (for those of us old enough to remember it)

:cool A senior scientist and team dealing with problems caused by science - mutated bacteria etc, caused by science mistakes. Very "Green", all science is bad, treehugger type thing from the '60's. Good fun to watch. Done well could be worth watching, or if it's really bad as well. :cooool
