Posting in the Gamer Central Forum
1: Absolutely no posting of links directing the user to pirate software sites (however discussion of BitTorrent sites ETC is allowed).
2: No posting of images which include nudity or other images which would be offensive.
3: If you have a problem with another member in another clan or board, dont bring that problem in here. NO DRAGGING YOUR CLANS PROBLEMS INTO THIS BOARD, FLAME IN YOUR OWN BOARDS...NOT THIS ONE. If you are posting an announcement about a clan war on the front page of the STG site for people to view do NOT start accusing the other clans of "hacking" or "stealing members" just post the war announcement.
4: NO FULL OUT FLAMING. Making a new topic on any forum to flame another member of the board is no longer allowed.
5: FLAME CONTENT IN GENERAL THREADS. General threads (outside of the Political Debates forum) in the board which start out as a normal discussion and then turn into a flame will be allowed to progress if the arguement is based on the original topic. However, when it gets personal and off topic the FIRST of the flaming posters will get a warning. If the flame continues the thread will be locked and all people involved in the flame will be given a warning.
6: MODERATOR ACTIONS. Dont bother to come whining to me or Vic if you dont like a decision one of the moderators has made against you.
7: LINKING TO OTHER COMMUNITY SITES...is allowed.
8: NO SPAMMING. Threads OUTSIDE of the Waffle Boards MUST remain on a discussion basis, you start to make one word replies in them the thread will be moved to the waffle board. If the same people keep turning discussions into waffle threads outside of the Waffle Boards youll be given a warning. If in doubt about making a new topic, it's safer to make it in the waffle boards where one word answers are allowed.
Special Circumstances
1: The Waffle Board...the NO SPAMMING rule does not apply there, all other rules do though...just dont go nuts with one word replies all the time...unless its the word ssociation thread.
2: The Politicial Debates Forum...debates in the forum must remain on topic. If a flame war starts and the flames turn personal with no links to the original topic then the person shall be warned and their rights to access the debates forum will be removed for a week.
3: The News Portal Forums...The forums on the top section of the board marked "News Portal" on the end are used for news posts on the front page of
http://www.startrek-gamers.com and
http://www.stargate-gamers.com the "Community Announcements" forum section in eachof those news portals are for community members to post their news on the front page. If you have news relating to Star Trek or Stargate gaming, or news which would effect those 2 communities then post the announcement. If you do not then DONT POST IN THOSE FORUMS!
The Warning System...5 warnings = 1 month ban. If you get banned for the 3rd time the ban is permanent and I mucy warn you, being banned from this site also means you are no longer able to access the front page of both sites either. A ban from this forum is a ban from the entire network
