When posting a problem remember to let folks know what your PC spec's are
EG: Your processor speed, amount of ram, graphics card type, your operating system...etc.
ETA: The quickest way to see if you already have it is to go to Control Panel and select Install/Uninstall programs. Look to see if it's in the list. You can then right click and select Properties to find out it's location.

Have you tried the Search function? It should show it's location "C:******" or you could again do the Right Click - Properties and THAT should show the location. Either that or just download it again.........it's still free.
Just had a thought. Check the Windows folder not the Program folder. Flash is an plug-in/add-on utility like Java. Then maybe a Media or other such folder. The Adobe folder would have Adobe Reader and such in it, but not Flash. It might even be in a sub-folder in IE. I'm trying to go from memory, it's been a while since I have used XP.
