Sorry i should of been more specific star trek at its nature will always have the Federation at its core in its stories and for the fans and rightly so what i was trying to say was in a straight choice between the Klingons and the Romulans most fans would choose the Klingons |

Space Seed
"Space Seed" is a first season episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, that was first broadcast on February 16, 1967 and repeated on August 24, 1967. It is episode #22, production #24, written by Gene L. Coon and Carey Wilber, based on a story by Carey Wilber, and directed by Marc Daniels.
The episode guest stars Ricardo Montalbán as Khan Noonien Singh, and Madlyn Rhue as Lt. Marla McGivers.
Overview: The crew of the Enterprise awakens a powerful dictator from Earth's war-torn past.

On stardate 3141.9, the Federation starship Enterprise, under the command of Captain James T. Kirk, finds a derelict ship floating in space. The ship is a DY-100 class freighter that was modified as a sleeper ship for cryogenically-frozen passengers. Its hull identifies it as the SS Botany Bay, though there is no historical record of such a ship. It was launched from Earth sometime during the 1990s, in an era known as the Eugenics Wars.
For me I really had hoped that the idea of the "Eugenics Wars" had been given its own movie it would have been awesome, the series only touched on it a few times and with the movie The Wrath of Khan but no movie on that period showing how Khan become so feared and wanted as a criminal http://www.amazon.com/Eugenics-Wars-Vol-Noonien-Singh/dp/0743406443 sadly there is a book on the entire episode just no movie what were they thinking....
The Eugenics Wars are a fictional backstory event in the Star Trek fictional universe. First mentioned in the TOS episode "Space Seed", in which it was stated that the Eugenics War was a global conflict that occurred during the mid-to-late 1990s.[1] The progeny of a human genetic engineering project established themselves as supermen and attempted world domination. The most notable of them, Khan Noonien Singh, conquered a quarter of the planet, mostly Asia. They ended up fighting amongst themselves and were eventually overthrown due to their disunity. Khan, however, escaped into space with a group of his followers only to be encountered by the USS Enterprise after spending centuries in suspended animation aboard the pre-warp starship Botany Bay.[1] The Eugenics Wars are a narrative explanation within Star Trek continuity as to why humanity has not enhanced itself or otherwise achieved superhuman levels despite the story taking place in a time and setting where technology exists which should obviously be capable of doing so.

I thonk the big-wigs in Hollywood should have done a new ST movie on U. S. S. Titan. instead of the current project to see how The Original Series characters came to be who they are. To me it would make more sense to follow up Nemisis w/ a Titan movie since Will Riker's mew commanf was alluded to in Nemisis. This is just my opinion, but I wanted to see what you guys and gals thought so I included a poll. Do you think they should have done a Titan movie? Sound off!
I would like to see a movie of that type. It would be a way to expand the fan base with the ability to explore new storylines. I am sure it will be impossible to please everybody. There will always be a group of people who will complain about whatever is devloped. I have been watching ST since the 70s and am addicted. Although I am now rapidly approaching 40 and have a family now I don't get a smuch time as I used to to watch or play games, I enjoy it when I get the chance.
Yes I am nervous about the new movie being developed, but as long as it has the basic premise of ST I will enjoy it. |

It would be hard for me to NOT like monk dvd since I am autistic hence very much like monk dvd. Unlike monk dvd box set whose focus is crime solving, the focus of my world is computers. I simple live to repair and diagnose unique computer challenges. Like Monk I have absolutely no social life at all.
Funny thing is I suffer from many of his same compulsions monk 1-7 dvd experiences however I never saw them as "compulsions" before watching this awesome series. I like Monk because he is like a brother to me. If you have a child with High Functioning Autism watch monk dvd it might give you a few insights into what makes our kind tick while laughing your self silly in the process as well.
Generally MONK is really funny and yet entertaining. monk dvd box setis just a little too timid for my tastes but other than that it is a fine series worthy of buying. MONK is on my to buy list for sure. You cannot go wrong with monk 1-7 dvd If you like LAW and Order and do not mind it mixed with a generous splash of humor you will like Adrian monk dvd as I do. I agree with Monk dude, "It Is A Jungle Out There!"... The theme song for this show is halarious worth getting the soundtrack. |
