Online Games Needed

Why cant there be more free online multiplayer games like space federation galatic conquest but for star trek. Iv not found one at all and its quite a shock.

I think it would be a huge crowd puller myself.

what i would like to see is one a bit like homeworld 1 and 2 well the 3D part any way that would be cool do think that there is a mod coming out soon for a game can't remember what it is called

I think that there is alot of things that could be done but the people with the know how dot think about it and dont listen. Im teaching myself graphics and c# / Java. I hope to be able to design my own games one day both online and offline smile

I mod ST Armada at the mo.

1 or 2 always looking for new mods for the games don't play Armada 1 much coz me computer is to good for it or it maybe coz i have XP not shore what one but tell use if u get one done

I know how to get armada to work 100% ok on xp. worked it all out. If you wanna know how pm me and i will tell you. I cant get Armada II, Its to expensive. Ebay and Amazon is charging around 25 to 30 quid for it.

Na no computer specs needed. The Armada Version you have is it 1.2

well its not installed at the mo coz it don't work.

so i guess it would be the 1.0 version

Get out the disk and put it in your drive. When it autoruns close it down. Then go to My Computer and right click on the drive you placed the disk in and selets explore. Go through the folders untill you find anet.ini. Click on that and it will tell you what version you have.

If it is an explosive box i can tell you right away that it is version 1.2

there's an easier way to do it, and it'll work with any version. When you have the game installed, right click on the .exe file used to start the game, and click Properties. There should be a Compatability tab, click on that. Then select a windows version to run it at, usually Win 98 will do unless it's a really old game. Works every time.. sly wink

Ah but Victory it does not improve the graphics problems the game lag and most important of all the sound quality. Armada 1 was not designed to run on xp and the compatability wizard can cause more problems than it solves. I know i tried it done that and lost hair over it lol.

you must have a slow machine if the compatability wizard affects your game that way. I've never had a problem with it.

i tried the compatibility wizard for A1 once and it didnt make even the slightest diference as 2 how the game performs, oh and michael ive pm'd u cause id love 2 know how u get the son of a b*tch working, its 1 of my fav games.
