Who know where IE ad FF bookmarks are kept?I want t redo my bookmarks but I don't want to lose the ones have now so any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

no idea, but my suggestion would be to export your bookmarks to HTML

in FF ctrl-shift-b

then the 'import and ...' button on top of the little screen
choose export to HTML, other options may work too, but that's the one I'm confident works

Firefox bookmarks:

Local disk C,
Documents and settings,
Your username,
Application Data,
Mozilla,
Firefox,
Profiles,
the whatever .default ,
bookmarkbackups,

Copy the most recent file (have their date in the name) to a safe place - you may have to change your folder settings to you can see hidden folders however to get the application data folder in your user names documents and settings.

(firefox default bookmark format is .json)
