TNG MOD FOR EAW - Updated for 2005 - produced by Chris Jones and CUGS - Part 1 (Beta).

This file will detect where EAW is on your hard drive and place files in the proper directory. You can also manually place the files. When the install is finished two batch files will appear on your desktop. EAW 2036 (The unmodded game) - and EAW TNG. Double click a batch file to copy the desired files into your game.

Some new single player skirmishes included -
Wolf359, Borg at Earth, Battle at Chintoka, Dominion Wars (with the Cardassian Orbital Defense Platforms), and Voyager's Endgame.

In the Endgame Scenario, 1 hit will take out each cube you encounter. Voyager is not invulnerable, as you'll see.

Also included, a new Multiplayer Free For All that offers up many new maps for your battles, with much different text messages. It is labeled as a Free For All - with new maps - in your multiplayer screen.

Federation, Borg, and Dominion officer names are names from the Trek TV shows and movies. Cardassian names in Part 2.

TNG shiplist.. races selectable in game by their proper names.

Pure Star Trek - no SFB races in this one at all - graphics, audio, some ship UIs updated. This list could use some TLC, therefore the beta status.

The audio has been updated, and included in the download - no need to mess with zip files. Your original game audio will NOT be overwritten.  The Borg have real Borg Engine audio. Most Borg voices are acutally Borg.
The shield hit effect is taken right from Star Trek: Generations. Some weapons audio is different. All new Taunts for The Feds, Borg, Dominion, Cardassian. Some taunts not functional just yet.

THIS IS A STANDALONE TNG MOD - FOR EMPIRES AT WAR. NO OTHER MODS REQUIRED. NEW AUDIO INCLUDED.

hmmm i installed eaw on my computer (im running windows xp pro)

and it seemed to work perfectly, i intalled your mod and now all the games does is crash to desktop whenever i pretty much try to do anything, i even used the non tng batch still happens do u need any paches before u install the mod if u do u may want to say that in this, or in the mod description

You need to patch up to 2036

The same goes for installing a mod for SFC3 as for the process.

for us newbs to the game it saying 2036 means nothing lol

Install the game say no to direct x and gamespy.Then patch up to 2036 and then install the mod if you have it installed already don't forget to delete the game folder.
