What your views on Star Trek Gaming?

SWG is a fab game... when the Pay to play trek game does come out it will have allot to live up too!!!

If its any good, id pay to play it, aslong as it wasnt overly priced!  :fire

He as a family and bills to pay as well and possibly a mortage or rent.You will be fineshed school when the Trek MMO comes and MarkyD is right they have to do well in MMO market as others are doing great.I still remian optimistic about other Trek game coming down the pipe and yes RTS and RPG .

Yep I do have bills... and a mortgage on my house in north wales, and rent on the house I live in in Aldershot... Im only a squaddie and my pay isnt great. But im sure I could force myself to pay the $14 a month, whats that Like £9 or somthing..

Even I can afford that, as can most people... It just needs to be WORTH it! And for that to be..... then it has to be better than SWG!!!

It is when SWG is 5 years old...and with so little groundvcombat that people pretty much soloed everything ascept the deathwatch bunker before the JTL expansion...

SWG was the royal [censored] up..it was fun...but eventually..it got boring...it was the same everyday...a grind...a loot spawn camper...and a gank by riflemen and fencers. The game (especially the GCW) is still broken even after so many years... I finally decided to pack it in in Septber when I realised that SOE was too slow to fix things....the game would never be as polished as wow for atleast another 2 years :/

Yeah i should have finished secondary education (as this is my senior year) but i do plan on going to university :P so by no means will i have finished school  :hmm

:alien I agree with red-green that the SFC/EF community will probably have to rely on modding something like Nexus. The problem is that if you look at the boards there are only about 5-600 people interested enough to register. That's not enough to develop a game from scratch. In other areas mod's to successful games have been taken up by the games developers. If someone like Blizzard took on a franchise it would take forever to come out but would probably be excellent. We can only live in hope and rely on Cozbo, MarkyD, red-green and others that we can move on and up.  :bounce

The infamous Chris Jones will be making a mod with the Nexus and he will be possibly  do some hosting here for it.I still remain some what optimistic of Trek gaming future .

You are going to have to shop around for it and shop locally first try some used computer stores or gaming stores new or used.If not you will have to get online.Sorry
