Old forums died.....alot of claims that sfc3 was dead and decomposing. Its good to see you guys make a comeback.....though I wish we'd not gone through the last ending. Did you guys just miss Trek? Also its fun to pull out those games like Starfleet Academy and Star Trek Unity and all those gems. Armada 2 still sees a lot of players but SFC3 is going out but BC is coming back with all the great clans still there and famous name like Shivan, Ladydeath, Starfire, Sarek USA, Terrako and a lot of others. But this forum was always the best and the greatest of game forums. But I say this. Until any Trek games come back why not move into some of the Star Wars games too as this could be a sci fi forum as Lucas Arts are producing some great games and have loads of multiplayers in the SW games which a lot of Trek players are into too. That way this great forum could really take on new life :) Star Wars Galaxies is the greatest subscriber game of all time and I will cheer when we have a Trek version of that. ----------------------------------- Age Sun Dec 05, 2004 12:24 am Re: Why the return? ----------------------------------- If I were an Admin I would say it is because we are Star Trek gaming and modding forum and most of the modders only know how to mod trek games.Star Wars has there own forums and this board wouldn't want to duplicate anything they are working on.This board remains soley dedicated to to everything Star Trek.This board will get over all the obstacles that lie in its way and will regrow.This is a good clean start for this board. Just the gaming in Wars now is quite similer, Elite Force is like the New Jedi Academy and the up and coming Republic Commando and Star Wars Galaxies add on Jump to Light Speed is like Bridge Commander on Steroids. STCD arrived in 1999/2000 when there really wasnt any large scale clan based news site so we gained the whole section of that market within 3 months. Many people have tried to copy this site and the things we offer. Then a loud cry for WoW wentup and some "people'" started making alot of noise in that direction..all fine and dandy. Then Things got all out of whack with Moderator insanity......and plug pulled! I might be wrong, but I think where I live you can get an "antique" license plate when the vehicle is 50 years old. And I think there might be a "classic" plate for those at 25. I didn't start as early as age but I do like working on cars. Steve, I don't know how close you are to Detroit, but maybe you would like the Woodward Cruise. Cars are vintage , veteran or classic in UK. Over 20 years old usually means a wreck unless restored. Rust rules! And I only ever owned one car - decided I prefered bikes - part owned my first at 10. It used to be you didn't pay road tax on cars over 25 years old, but they stopped that a few years ago.
